NEW Kids Can Crochet Class
In this 6 week class, students will learn the basics of crocheting, preparing them for larger and more complex projects. We will introduce your child to crochet in a fun, accepting environment. Not only is crocheting a fun craft that kids can enjoy, but it also teaches them important skills like hand-eye coordination, patience, improves fine motor skills, enhances focus & concentration and helps build self esteem.
No experience is necessary, this is a course for beginners. We will meet on consecutive Monday from 4:30-5:30pm. Participants must be 9+ years & up. Space is limited, so sign up early. Next session Monday April 15- May 27 (no class May 20)
Cost: $50.00+ tax, A crochet hook and yarn will be included in the registration fee.
NEW Intermediate class - Tuesday April 16- May 21 4:00-5:00 In this group they will be working on learning more complex stitches and making various items. the group is currently working on the Chevron bag in the photo on the left,
Kids Can Sew workshops
This class is for children who are interested in learning how to sew on a sewing machine.
This class will run from September to June, on the first Saturday of every month. This year we will be adding a second class for kids 9 years and up as well as running a class for ages 7-9 years old. Parents are welcome to attend with their child to help them and be a part of the learning experience. You can sign up for classes monthly or in blocks of 5.
Students will begin learning all about the sewing machine while making a different project each month. Skills learned: sewing machine basics, sewing machine parts, how to thread a machine, wind a bobbin and load the bobbin, sewing machine stitching, using a pattern, cutting along the grain, and ironing material properly are just a few of the skills they will learn.
A sewing machine is required for this class, so if you have access to one that’s great. If you do not have a sewing machine let us know when registering, as we have access to a few machines that can be used for the day.
Cost includes all material and patterns. A basic sewing kit is required and a list will be provided
Each class is $45.00 + tax or pay for 5 classes for $200.00 + tax , a savings of $25.00
Class times: 10:00-1:00 for ages 7+, 1:30-4:30 for ages 9+

Kids Can Sew Summer Camp
We will be running a kids camp for 1 week in July and another for 1 week in August 10:00-2:30 each day. Details will be coming soon
